Leading Derbyshire based Software House requires a Software Developer to join their development team. The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge of C# or VB.Net experience with a MS SQL Server backend. You would need strong analytical and mathematical skills and should be degree educated (Computer Science, Engineering or numerate degree). Experience or skills in some of the following would be highly desirable: - experience of commercial CAD systems for structural steel or construction industry - experience of 3D Geometry or 3D Graphics - knowledge of Fortran The main focus of the job is the development of the companies core products a worlds leading 3D design system and a management information system. You will be involved in the development as well as the testing phase. You will also be asked to create technical documents such as specifications and design diagrams.
