My client develops, markets, installs and supports a suite of software for Independent Financial Advisers (IFA’s). Their principal products are a back office administration system, a modular website builder and an extranet. The purpose of this job is: Using specifications to design, implement and test and features for products that are based on .NET (C#) and VB6. To update and maintain existing applications developed in C# and VB6. To provide third line technical support; to analyse and fix faults. You will need to have been involved in development using; VB6, C#, SQL Server, Web-Services. Good working knowledge of basic technologies such as; Firewalls, proxy servers, routers, IP stack, networks, etc. Any experience with Filemaker Pro Object orientated analysis and design would be advantageous.
