Last updated: 07/09/2010 CONTRACT Non-Functional Performance Tester, Manchester Back Our client, a web design company who specialise in developing web sites and applications that can handle large amounts of transactions require a contract non-functional Tester to undertake Load, Volume and Performance testing of web based systems and standalone applications. They are experiencing a very busy period of client new project work and as a result a need has arisen for a number of non functional performance testers to join them on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be familiar with performance testing tools such as Facilita Forecast , HP/ Mercury Loadrunner, Oracle e-Load (also known as E-Test suite) and Apache/Jakarta Jmeter (j-meter). Since this role involves regular ad-hoc project work with occasional client visits my client is very keen on candidates in the local area to Manchester, North West. Customer facing skills are essential! Technical certifications are desirable, especially in testing (ISEB) but not essential. This client builds systems that need to be accurate, highly available and very resilient. A background working for large scale IT test consultancies would be desirable.
