Our client a large aerospace engineering company require a Contract Solution Architect to design cost effective solution architectures. Provide technology leadership and insight into enterprise and solution architecture. Design solution architecture for multiple strategic projects, Define project strategy and technical implementation. Take a lead role on bids and complex projects. Research, analyse current and emerging technologies and architecture design strategies and how they may be applied to projects. Evaluate designs against the enterprise architecture and recommend changes or enhancements. Techincal skills required: Java / .J2EE / .NET / C# / C / C++ / ADA Object-orientated design and architecture Enterprise database systems (Oracle / DB2 etc) Knowledge and understanding of ESB / SOA / Messaging / EDA and other system architectures, Experience of defining project strategy and alignment with enterprise architectures, Broad industry experience of solution architectures, software development and knowledge of hardware infrastructures MoD security clearance or willingness to gain clearance.
