Our client, a web design company who specialise in developing web sites and applications that can handle large amounts of transactions require a contract non-functional Tester to undertake Load, Volume and Performance testing of web based systems and standalone applications. They are experiencing a very busy period of client new project work and as a result a need has arisen for a number of non functional performance testers to join them on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with performance testing tools such as
Facilita Forecast ,
HP/ Mercury Loadrunner,
Oracle e-Load (also known as E-Test suite) and
Apache/Jakarta Jmeter (j-meter).
Since this role involves regular ad-hoc project work with occasional client visits my client is very keen on candidates in the local area to Manchester, North West. Customer facing skills are essential! Technical certifications are desirable, especially in testing (ISEB) but not essential. This client builds systems that need to be accurate, highly available and very resilient. A background working for large scale IT test consultancies would be desirable.

My client, a training consultancy urgently require a Training Manager for long term, ongoing contract role. This exciting contract will involve regular client facing meetings and travel within Europe, typically 25-40% of the normal working week. Familiarity with managing/working with virtual or remote training teams and a good training management background with some account management (working with clients, bringing in new business etc.) is desirable.
Your key responsibilities will be:
To effectively forecast, schedule and allocate resources to meet the learning needs for each country. To continually assess and recommend process improvements for European Delivery Model.
To lead and manage small virtual training design delivery team (7-10 trainers).
Ensure quality and consistency of training through trainer observation, assessment, feedback and certification for high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports to provide status updates on scheduling, cancellations and resource allocation.
Establish and build client relationships with all countries (Belux, Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, UK and Ireland) to ensure effective assessment and delivery of learning solutions.
Facilitate Management, Technical and Functional training programs as needed.
