Flash AS3 Developer /HTML5 Developer - Gaming Industry - London.

My client is a leading online gaming company based in the North London area who work with some of the biggest names in the gaming/betting industry

Due to continued success they are currently looking to expand their talented team of Developers. You will be responsible for the design and development of new software components in ActionScript 3 or HTML5 coupled with maintenance and continual improvement of existing code.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, or a related subject, and either be highly proficient with Object Orientated ActionScript 3.0 OR HTML5 and understanding of MVC frameworks.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Flash Developer or HTML5 developer to be cross trained in a new skill-set and comprehensive training will be provided by the company.

My Client is looking for a team lead a senior application developer and a systems developer to run and work in their development team. Ruby on Rails exposure is a pre-requisite. The team lead will be working in a small team environment on the design and implementation of an enterprise level management appliance and will be expected to act as a mentor for application developers to improve their skills and ensure high quality implementation. My client make's extensive use of open source solutions including: Linux, Apache, Ruby on Rails, Mongrel and Subversion. Thorough Linux exposure is essential as their development environment and products are Linux based and knowledge of the configuration and operation of key Linux services is essential. As some components of their products utilise additional languages, exposure to additional languages such as Java, C++, ActionScript or Perl will be beneficial. A knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium and Watir, and BDD frameworks such as RSpec and Cucumber is preferred but not essential. Required Skills • Thorough knowledge of the UNIX/Linux environment • Knowledge of device drives, Linux kernel modifications • In-depth knowledge of web services and service oriented architecture • Ruby on Rails web application design and development • Relational database design and development • HTML, AJAX, PHP, CSS • Knowledge of major Linux services (LAMP, BIND, DHCP, etc.) • Self-motivated approach to project work • Excellent communication and team lead skills

Their products provide an end-to-end solution for energy optimisation, addressing the performance of both the physical infrastructure of the data centre and the IT systems operating within it.

My client is looking for a Application Developer to join their development team. Ruby on Rails exposure is desirable but if you are a developer that does not use Ruby or Ruby on Rails and wants to learn, that’s acceptable too. You will work in a team environment on the design and implementation of an enterprise level management appliance. . We make extensive use of open source solutions including: Linux, Apache, Ruby on Rails, Mongrel and Subversion. Linux exposure is highly desirable, as our development environment and products are Linux based. Exposure of HTML, CSS and Javascript is preferred but not essential. As some components of our products utilise additional languages, exposure of Java, C++, ActionScript, Perl, PHP, Python or Bash will be beneficial.
