Key Responsibilities:

• To provide content expertise in the clients products, training methods and innovative training solutions.
• To maintain workshop and classroom facilitation and training delivery services, elearning solutions as well as providing support to the Head of Training to meet the objectives of the department and the business.
• To manage the role requires an individual who is highly knowledgeable in managing customers’ projects and training deployments as well as their own development.

Required Skills and Personal Qualities:

MS Office 2003 / 2010 IT trainer for Cambridge lawfirm
Our Client a leading Lawfirm based in Cambridge are looking for a IT trainer with a lawfirm background to join their Cambridge office, to work closely with the IT training team, the currently have 2 trainers who are based in the Birmingham and Norwich offices.
Key Duties and responsibilities
o Deliver training sessions on the use of the firm’s information systems using the prescribed methods and standards of presentation and delivery.
o Deliver training in a 1:1, group or classroom situation, using training techniques appropriate to each
situation.
o Deliver adhoc workshop sessions.
o Identify the individual learning styles of users and accommodate these as much as possible during the
delivery of training sessions (and particularly during the delivery of 1:1 training sessions).
o Conduct “floor walking” around the Cambridge office to help users at their desks.
Design training
o Design, in-house IT training courses.
o Prepare training materials and handouts, ensuring these are of a consistently high quality.
o Design e-learning training material.
Identify training needs
o Gather information (through discussion and course feedback) from the principal stakeholders in the firm
(IT, HR, NSL leaders, partners and staff) and pass this information to the IT training manager.
o Attend and facilitate IT user group meetings.
o Participate in IT project teams, establishing training requirements and planning the training approach.
Assess training
o Assess objectively the ability levels of all users, recommending future training as appropriate.
o Deal sensitively and confidentially with performance issues by referring to the appropriate person.
Record training
o Ensure all training sessions carried out are recorded on the centralised training database.
Evaluate training
o Evaluate all IT training carried out by:
o checking and recording the level of competence at the end of each training session;
o seeking feedback from users immediately after training sessions using post course evaluation
sheets;
o recommending refresher training as required;
o monitoring the application of new skills in the workplace by conducting follow-up visits;
o reporting back to the IT training manager on training carried out;
o recommending amendments to training programmes as appropriate.
Skills, knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
Good knowledge of all other Microsoft applications including Outlook,Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge of using legal IT software packages such as Interaction Worksite, Document management and Digital Dictation packages
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 which they are currently using but familiar with office 2010 which they will be moving to later in 2013.
MOS (Office user specialist) Certification is desirable

Our client have a large internal training team who deliver corporate and head office training to its senior management staff have a need to bring in some subject matter experts to satisfy a need to increase the skills and awareness within the business of the pitfalls of having unconscious bias in the way they recruit staff and promote people within the business.
Full description of L&D request:
A new team of associates are required to deliver the Unconscious Bias workshops to the clients senior management.
Skills and Knowledge required:
The training team that are chosen to deliver these events, will require proven Know how and skills
(including any supporting qualifications or learning in this case a psychology degree) in delivering Unconscious Bias in the work place. You will be a facilitator who will have an HR background or strong examples to pull from a business environment (e.g. somebody who has spent time inside businesses-rather than just delivering into them).
There is minimal ‘traditional classroom training delivery’ and the workshop delivery will designed to be more inclusive and challenging facilitation sessions, and therefore it is essential to secure the correct calibre of training facilitator.
Duration of up skilling process:
Train the trainer sessions will be offered. The delivery needs to start in March 2013 and the events will be delivered regularly on and on-going basis . Up skilling will take place in February 2013.

Skills and knowledge:
You will have significant knowledge working with Payroll and HR systems and will be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills. A critical part of this role will be managing third parties, and you will have proven skills managing contracts and highlighting areas of improvement and working with third parties to manage situations, issues, risks etc.
You will be required to demonstrate the ability to challenge constructively, whilst possessing resilience and tenacity. Also, you will be confident reviewing and continually improve processes, procedures and implementing them.
In addition to this you will have a proven track record of UK and International delivery in an HR Centre environment.
Additionally, your knowledge will demonstrate:
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in an autonomous and independent way, whilst remaining able to take instruction when necessary.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines in a fast paced, matrix environment.
• Ability to research and analyse data and present findings to others.
• Strong analytical and process management skills.

Our Client a large managed learning company are looking for a Lead Associate trainer who will be responsible for the development of course content/ and the delivery of Classroom training for approx 350 people within this company and also for an e learning solution to be developed as a short term 1st level introduction to the project work for new staff.

The training clients end customer work in the construction industry and housing association so thier staff deal with the general public that can sometimes be in a potentially difficult or confrontational face to face situation. If you have eveloped courses using NLP or communication skills where conflict is possible, but required to find verbal ways of diffusing the situation. Possibly people that have used Risk Assessments or developed guides to dealing with difficult situations.

You will need to liaise with the client to understand the content required based upon the following subject matter and create e-learning and instructor led training materials:

· Face to Face contact with a range of different contexts (Building inspection, Debt collection, Claims investigation, HR, etc) and dealing with a number of individuals.

· Telephone contact and harassment. Dealing with threats of physical harm

· The art of Prevention – Stop it happening before it happens- How to spot the signs and prevent degeneration

· Uncontrolled environments – neutral meeting places such as Hotels, Motorway services, etc
