Junior/Assistant Project Manager - Batley, West Yorkshire.

In this role, you will assist Project Managers across all aspects of the project to help the PM deliver the project to time, budget and quality in line with customer requirements.
The type of person needed for this role would be interested in technology, be flexible in the jobs they undertake and work methodically. They should be able to work in a relaxed atmosphere while still being able to deal with tight deadlines and challenging situations.

Assist project managers in producing documentation for the life cycle of the project, this includes:
· Project Plans
· Customer update reports
· Specification of work items
· Test plans
· Release notes
· Other project documentation
· Support the PM in customer reviews and progress meetings.
· Work with the PM and development team to ensure developers have an understanding of the requirements.
· Assist with testing - functional and regression
· Be a contact for the customer, in the absence of the PM, if needed
· Assist in default/bug verification
· Assist in other Project Management duties under direction of a Project Manager
· Exposure to a project environment

Training Project Manager Our Client is the UK’s leading provider of managed learning services. It manages outsourced training departments on behalf of corporate clients, is based in Bracknell and has £30 million of revenues and 80 employees.

The role
Our Client is seeking to recruit a training project management professional on consultancy basis focusing on;
  • supporting the management of new project/contract implementations,
  • delivering training programme management activities for our clients customers
    Scheduling and Liasion with suppliers and trainers, Utilisation and fill rates of the training events
  • Stakeholder management and Budget management and reporting

The ideal candidate The ideal candidate has at least several yrs exp in managing, or operating within, an in-house Learning & Development function for a medium or large business.

Their current project is a Travel Hospitality industry sector that is looking to train their customers on a booking and reservation system that allows the hotels to update and amend the data on the booking system for themselves.
The training is delivered over the web via web-ex and the PM will make sure the client trainers and stakeholders are managed and organised.
The candidate has probably had a role as a Training Manager or Learning & Development Manager with personal responsibility for some or all of:-
(i) learning strategy development,
(ii) skills and competency management,
(iii) curriculum design,
(iv) training resource and supplier management,

Senior Pre Sales Consultant, Bristol or Derby - The Consultant will work in support of sales and marketing teams that consist of business development, engineers and contracts personnel, primarily in the aerospace market, will help define a winning strategy for each target account and assist in executing the tasks required to close deals.
Key Accountabilities are:

The candidate must have strong communication skills, be able to make a strong first impression, elicit trust and convey a sense of confidence and trust to customers, peers and management. The candidate must have a willingness to travel in EMEA / AP and attend out of hours meetings for technical development and networking.
• Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, or similar, to Bachelors Degree level.
• Consultant/PM/Operations Management in Aerospace or related (knowing the terminology or domain space is a must)
• Ideally Internet application / database aware and PC literate.

Purpose of role: To ensure the success of the SAP and Maximo project while operating within project controls set by the PM, and to ensure successful delivery and learning.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for managing the Project Manager (including performance management)
· Responsible for training development and delivery according to all 6 stages of the Harrison model
· Recruits and trains local trainers to ensure that training and development requirements are delivered, recorded and properly budgeted for
· Leads, including performance management, of the trainer team as part of the main project roll-out
· To ensure that the HSE guidance and policies are effectively communicated to all staff, contractors and employees
· Ensure local operations are running in line with standards and good HSE practice
· Identifying and anticipating trends in project performance and defining the areas requiring attention
· Liaises with the role mapper to finalise the local role mapping of end users to curriculum
· Liaises with the customer and their designated Virtual Training supplier over scheduling of courses
· Actively identifies project risks and escalate these to the PM as necessary
· Develop effective working relationships within the project team and external contractors relevant to the success of the project
· Responsible for overseeing logistics, training administration
· Responsible for the quality, timescales and cost control of the training program while adhering to any controls set by the Project Manager
· Manages the pilot project and makes recommendations for improvement that can be implemented in time for the full deployment phase

Competencies:
The roles require a good understanding, based on practical know how, of both SAP and Maximo, as well as knowledge of managing a large training project. You will require strong organisational skills and have the proven skills to manage a relatively large (25-30) team of Lead Trainers and Trainers.
The nature of the project requires this role to undertake substantial coordination with various points of contact both within the customer and with other partners. This requires good relationship-building, coordination, facilitation and communication skills as well as a level of pragmatism to be able to make decisions when needed in order to maintain project progress.
A relatively high level of computer literacy is required particularly relating to complex training plans,spreadsheets and MS Project.
